Our guest speaker at the launch of ‘Equipment for Independence’ was Barry Cardno, author of ‘Let it Fly! A Young Topdressing Pilot’s Story’. Barry is a public speaker, a pilot of his own plane, and an all round amazing character. He talked to our guests about how his life changed dramatically after he broke his back in an accident, and what he had to put in place to enable Barry to live life his way!
Barry reminded us all about what a difference the right piece of equipment can make to the quality of someone’s life, regardless of age.
